- The South Downs way, with its excellent walks, is very accessible from our location.
- Historic Lewes Castle is also close.
- Alfriston has historic buildings, Horse-riding,and tennis, with Drusillas Zoo and the Long Man of Wilmington nearby.
- Seaford Leisure Centre is within walking distance.
- Scenic Cuckmere Haven is five minutes by car(see photo below).
